"I went through many hardships during my teenage years. As a survivor of sexual slavery who underwent unspeakable abuse, including forced prostitution and subsequent abortions, people expect that I would be emotionally crippled and unable to live a meaningful or happy life. Yet here I am today – forgiven, healed, restored, and making a difference because of God’s forgiveness. Healing began with seeking forgiveness, accepting God’s grace, and learning to forgive myself. My hope is that my story brings encouragement, compassion, and hope to anyone who may be carrying the weight of similar experiences. I want others to know they can find that same Freedom and Healing in Forgiveness too."

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) - January 1, 2026

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) is a day every January (usually the 3rd Sunday) when churches nationwide celebrate the sanctity of human life and catch the vision for what God is doing in local pregnancy centers like Your Loving Choices. Churches can participate all month long and in the following ways:

1. PRAY! We covet your prayers. God is doing something amazing at YLC and we need your prayers to continue this vital community ministry. 

2. Order bulletin inserts for your congregations. There is no charge for the inserts.

3. Schedule a speaker from Your Loving Choices. A 5-7-minute presentation in your service(s) is a blessing to us and a wonderful way to familiarize your people with a local ministry that's addressing the pro-life issue in a positive way. A link to a 3-5-minute video presentation that you can use on your own has been linked at the bottom of the page.

4. Participate in our Baby Bottle Project. Baby bottles are distributed to your congregation on SOHLS so they can fill them with their spare change, pray for our ministry and return them one month later. This would be administered by someone in the church and is a great way for families and children to make a difference.
