Our Mission

YOUR Loving CHOICES is a Christian ministry promoting life as given from God, offering loving support to those facing unplanned pregnancies, providing education about the life-giving options of adoption and parenting, conveying God's healing to those traumatized by abortion, and advocating abstinence as the only true prevention of sexual crises. To achieve this mission we:

  • Present the love, grace and truth of Jesus Christ
  • Provide compassionate hope and help
  • Promote sexual abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles
  • Present opportunities for healing and restoration to those hurt by their lifestyle choices


 Our History 

     Patti Stoudt and Paul, her husband, are the parents of three wonderful children, Matthew, Nathan, and Heidi, whom the Lord brought to their family through adoption. After the Lord brought the boys to their family, Patti felt a burden to begin working with women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. She felt such love toward her boys’ birth mothers, whom she had not had the privilege to meet. Yet she wanted in some way to show love to other women facing hard choices similar to what the boys’ birth mothers had faced.

 

     After much prayer and studying, and with Paul’s blessing, she launched YOUR Loving CHOICES(a crisis pregnancy ministry) in their home on January 22, 1991. She met with clients in her basement family room, while her two-year-old boys helped by playing quietly in their room, praying for Mommy during client sessions. Their first client ended up living with them for six months. Since then, the Lord has expanded YOUR Loving CHOICES, Inc. to a beautiful office in downtown Bloomsburg, PA. The Lord also has since brought Heidi to Patti and Paul’s family. They have an open adoption with Heidi’s birth mother, birth grandmother, and other relatives, maintaining contact several times each year. Patti and her family also had the opportunity to travel to Korea in 2002 and were excited to be able to meet Matt’s birth mother. Patti likes to point out that none of the children’s birth mother were ever clients of YOUR Loving CHOICES. She is careful to emphasize that she would not want to create a conflict of interest, even though several clients have hinted that they would like Patti to be their babies’ adoptive mother.

 

     Patti is still involved with YOUR Loving CHOICES, volunteering on the Board of Directors and a pregnancy coach. YOUR Loving CHOICES works with many women, some of whom parent their babies and others who plan adoptions for their babies. Patti usually works with those clients planning adoption and has written a book drawing from her experience since 1991.
